Previous-year cutoffs
IBPS publishes state/category-wise Main examination cut-offs after the process, not as a single all-India number. CRP CSA-XVI Preliminary examination is still listed for October 2026, so this cycle’s cut-offs are not yet stored. Do not treat coaching-website memory figures as official.
sectional: Sectional cutoffs are minimum marks required in an individual section, where the conducting body applies them.
overall: Overall cutoffs are the combined score threshold across sections for a stage.
qualifying: Qualifying cutoffs decide whether a candidate proceeds to the next stage; they may not determine final merit.
final: Final cutoffs are the marks associated with last-listed candidates in a merit or allotment list, when published.

Preparation strategy
Editorial study advice from AI Exam Coach. It is not an official rulebook and does not promise selection or a rank.
- Treat CRP CSA-XVI as a speed-and-accuracy clerical exam: Prelims is a shortlist, Mains builds the merit list.
- Confirm the State/UT you applied for and the local-language requirement before investing in interview-style preparation — this process has no interview.
- Attempt the free IBPS Clerk mock on this platform to map weak topics, then drill those topics before another full-length paper.
- Stabilise Numerical Ability simplification, arithmetic and DI, because Prelims gives 20 minutes for 35 questions.
- Practise puzzle sets with a skip rule so one seating arrangement does not consume the Reasoning section.
- Keep English error-spotting and reading comprehension in daily rotation; the Mains English paper is 35 minutes for 40 questions.
- Add General/Financial Awareness only after the core three Prelims sections are consistent, because GA appears in Mains, not Prelims.
- Revisit only topics that you got wrong or skipped, then re-test them in a later session.
- Keep a short error log: concept mistake, calculation error, or time pressure.
- Revise marked questions from mocks before starting a new full-length paper.
- Treat the free introductory mock as a diagnostic, not a rank predictor.
- Sit timed mocks in one sitting and review every incorrect and unattempted question.
- Do not assume mock difficulty equals the live paper. Use mocks to train process and stamina.
- Previous-year papers on this platform are shown only when a paper record exists.
- When papers are unavailable, use topic practice and official sample information instead of unofficial memory-based claims.
- Decide a section order before the timer starts and stick to skip rules for time-consuming sets.
- Leave a buffer for marked questions. Do not spend the last minutes opening new puzzles.
- Waiting for a notification before starting core practice.
- Memorising unverified cutoff or vacancy figures from social media.
- Taking many mocks without reviewing mistakes.
- Treating platform mock pattern as a guarantee of the next official paper.
Quantitative Aptitude
Prioritise simplification, arithmetic, and data interpretation. Track time per set rather than only overall accuracy.
Reasoning
Alternate puzzles with shorter topics such as syllogism so you do not stall on a single puzzle type.
English
Combine error detection with reading practice. Review explanations even when you guess correctly.
General Awareness
Use short, regular revision. Do not treat unverified current-affairs lists as official exam content.
